Your route is under control

The Blaupunkt TravelPilot provides your

drivers with a high degree of flexibility.

Traffic jams, diversions, changes to the tour

schedule or a new destination? The Travel-

Pilot helps your drivers master every new

situation. The TravelPilot’s large colour dis-

play and handy keyboard provide first-rate

ergonomics in the cockpit. The map display

contains a whole wealth of information to

suit the configured map scale. Destinations

that are driven to often can be accessed

quickly from memory. This avoids round-

about routes and wide main roads take you

straight to your destination – and in some

towns straight to the correct house number.

Safely detour traffic congestion

The D-Namic tuner box often lets the

TravelPilot know about traffic jams even

before they are broadcast as traffic

announcements. It uses the traffic jam

coordinates, length and expected average

speed to recalculate the route and quickly

provide a sensible alternative if one is avail-

able. It’s simple and automatic.

Flexibility is the key

A diversion? The large monitor shows the

driver possible detours. A new destination?

The TravelPilot calculates a new route with-

in seconds.

Navigation is entertainment

Your passengers can follow the exact route

on-screen. The map showing towns, rivers,

roads and surrounding landscape is inter-

esting and helps to paint a clearer picture

of the journey. Even sights of interest are

displayed and your passengers can be

informed about when the next short break

will be taken, so there is no need for any-

one to ask.

Thanks to Blaupunkt’s proactive, dynamic

screen navigation, your drivers will always

know exactly where they’re going. Precise route

guidance throughout Europe is supported by a natu-

ral-sounding voice, large, unmistakable arrows and an

easy-to-read display, which also shows different addi-

tional information (arrival time, distance remaining, etc.).

The modern screen can display detailed maps in differ-

ent views. And to make sure that operation is easy right

from the start, the system has been equipped with

intuitive, clearly structured menus and convenient

operation via infrared remote control.
